Here are five highlights:
1. The Renaissance system is designed to help surgeons accurately place pedicle screws and implants during spinal surgery.
2. Tri-City Medical Center’s Neville Alleyne, MD, and Janet Dunlap, MD, also use the Renaissance system to perform spine procedures.
3. The medical center bought its first Renaissance system in February 2012 and purchased a second system in December 2012.
4. Surgeons have performed more than 15,000 procedures with the Renaissance system since 2011.
5. More than 100 hospitals have Renaissance systems, globally.
