From acquisitions and new leadership, here are six key updates from spine and orthopedic device companies since March 26:

1. Globus Medical completed its acquisition of Nevro.

2. Smith+Nephew and Enhatch, a provider of AI-powered preoperative planning options, partnered with 3D Systems, a 3D printing company.

3. Shoulder arthroplasty company Catalyst OrthoScience named Miguel Ramirez, MD, as its chief medical officer.

4. Medtech company Enovis named Damien McDonald as its new CEO. He will take over the role on May 21.

5. Richard Mueller is the new president and CEO of Life Spine.

6. Investment firm Viscogliosi Brothers completed its acquisition of Stryker’s U.S. spine business.
