10k+ Spinal Elements’ Ti-Bond devices implanted; device warranty program established: 5 highlights

Surgeons have implanted more than 10,000 of Carlsbad, Calif.-based Spinal Elements’ Ti-Bond interbody devices in patients.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Ti-Bond is a porous titanium coating on PEEK interbody devices.

 

2. Spinal Elements now offers a warranty on the implants through its Ti-Bond Warranty Program.

 

3. The interbody devices are warrantied against delaminating, chipping, peeling, shedding or generating debris during surgery.

 

4. Additionally, the devices are warrantied against implant fracture, coating delamination, pseudarthrosis, implant migration, subsidence or trauma up to a year post-operation.

 

4. If any of the above occurs, Spinal Elements will replace the implant at no cost.

 

5. The company is beginning to use Ti-Bond in lateral and expandable interbody devices.
