Providence Medical Technology, a spinal technology company, has appointed Lane Major as president and CEO.
Mr. Major also joined the company’s board of directors, according to an Aug. 6 Providence news release. He most recently served as CEO of Zavation Medical Products. Mr. Major previously co-founded K2M in 2004 and served as COO and chief strategy officer, helping lead the spine company through its 2014 initial public offering and its $1.4 billion acquisition by Stryker in 2018.
Following the acquisition, Mr. Major served as vice president and general manager of Stryker’s global spine business, where he oversaw the integration and growth of the company’s spine and enabling technologies portfolio.
