Costing about $1 million, the Mako robot helps surgeons plan procedures and then guides them through the plan intraoperatively.
OOA has 24 physicians with three clinics, one surgery center and one urgent care center, according to its website.
The practice completed the credentialing process to use the MAKO robot in December and began offering joint replacements with the technology in January.
