Velys used in its first unicompartmental knee replacement

Johnson & Johnson’s Velys robot has been used in unicompartmental knee replacements for the first time, according to a Dec. 5 LinkedIn post

Surgeons with Houston-based Texas Orthopedic Hospital and St. Cloud (Minn.) Surgical Center were highlighted in a video from the company. 

Velys was approved for partial knee replacements in June.
