The Mako system allows surgeons to create a three-dimensional plan and perform surgery with a high-accuracy robotic arm. Mako Total Knee combines Stryker’s robotic technology with its Triathlon Total Knee System, which enables surgeons to have a more predictable surgical experience.

“We are proud to be the first provider in a five-county region to offer this highly advanced robotic technology in our outpatient surgery center,” Coastal Orthopedics CEO Paige LeMay said in the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
