Star Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is planning to open a new facility in Frisco, Texas.

The 12,000-square-foot center will provide care including sports medicine, pediatric orthopedics, spine, joint replacement, foot and ankle and upper extremity care, according to a Sept. 10 news release.

In addition, the practice will have on-site physical therapy, X-ray, ultrasound and regenerative medicine.

Star Orthopedics was co-founded by Andrew Dold, MD, and Paul Ghattas, DO, and also has three other locations in Texas.

The facility is planned to open in April 2026, the release said.
