Former orthopedic surgeon Shaun Kink, MD, accepted a plea deal to avoid felony sexual assault charges, NPR affiliate WGLT reported Dec. 27.

Palm Beach (Fla.) Orthopedic Institute has received zoning board approval for a new orthopedic ASC in Loxahatchee, Fla., according to the Dec. 15 planning and zoning board agenda. 

Atlanta-based Ortho Sport and Spine Physicians has partnered with the Mandela Institute for Humanity, an organization run by Nelson Mandela's grandson, Ndaba Mandela.
