Sports medicine surgeon Matthew Anderson, MD, has joined the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, according to a Sept. 21 report by the Williamson Herald.

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio-based Western Reserve Hospital Physicians, Inc. Orthopedics has added Gordon Bennett, MD, to its team of providers.

Memphis, Tenn.-based OrthoSouth signed a 10-year partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies NBA team, according to a Sept. 20 news release. 

Becker's reported on three multimillion orthopedic projects totalling $100 million so far in the second half of the year.

Heather Roberts, MD, a joint replacement specialist, is joining the staff of Vancouver, Wash.-based Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery, which includes her father, Donald Roberts, MD. 

Orthofix's Galaxy Fixation Gemini system was launched and has been used in its first cases, the medtech company said Sept. 20.

Orthopedic surgeon Joseph Zuckerman, MD, earned the Orthopaedic Summit: Evolving Techniques Lifetime Achievement Award, according to a Sept. 20 news release. 

Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed elbow surgery on Shohei Ohtani, a player for the Los Angeles Angels, on Sept. 19 at the Kerlan & Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.

De La Vina Surgicenter in Santa Barbara, Calif. added Lazurite's ArthroFree wireless surgical camera, the medtech company said Sept. 20.
