Orthopedic surgeons on the move in July

Here are nearly 10 orthopedic and sports medicine surgeons who joined new health systems and orthopedic practices in July, as reported by Becker’s. 

1. Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health added Nicholas O’Neill, DO, to its orthopedic staff. 
2. Bruce Ziran, MD, joined Atlanta Orthopaedic Institute.
3. Nicholas Lemme, MD, is joining the sports medicine team at Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics.
4. Orthopaedic Associates added Anson Chu, DPM, to its orthopedic staff.
5. The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute expanded its staff with 26 orthopedic and sports medicine physicians in Florida. 
6. Tahoe Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, part of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.-based Barton Health, expanded its team by adding Jeffrey Cummings, MD, and Scott Southard, MD.
7. Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital added Cory Messerschmidt, MD.
