Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital has added Cory Messerschmidt, MD, to its staff, according to a July 2 report from Bluffton Today.
Dr. Messerschmidt is an orthopedic surgeon with expertise in sports medicine, joint preservation, joint replacement and robotic surgery.
Dr. Messerschmidt also performs ACL repairs, meniscus preservation and shoulder arthroscopy.
He previously served as an orthopedic surgeon at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic, the report said.
