“Through the years OIC has benefited greatly from the generosity and wisdom of [Meyer and Renee Luskin]. This transformational gift will have a perpetual impact on our mission and on all those who cross our threshold for generations to come,” Orthopedic Institute for Children CEO Anthony Scaduto, MD, said in a June 13 statement from the organization.

Mr. Luskin, a former chair of the Orthopedic Institue’s board of directors, has positively affected the Los Angeles community through his leadership as a director of multiple charitable organizations, according to the press release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
