MLB players undergoing orthopedic procedures in 30 days

Here are four professional MLB pitchers who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, as reported by Becker’s since July 28:

  1. Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed shoulder surgery on Félix Bautista, a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles.
  2. Dr. ElAttrache successfully completed a pronator repair surgery on Tony Gonsolin, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers. 
  3. Keith Meister, MD, performed elbow surgery on Manuel Rodríguez, a pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays.
  4. Dr. Meister performed elbow surgery on Carson Spiers, a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds.
