Drs. Evan Loewy, George Eldayrie join Florida Orthopaedic Institute

Tampa-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute added orthopedic surgeon Evan Loewy, MD, and primary care orthopedist George Eldayrie, MD, to its staff of over 40 fellowship-trained physicians.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Loewy completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University of South Florida in Miami and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at OrthoCarolina.

2. Dr. Eldayrie completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville and a sports medicine fellowship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.

3. Dr. Loewy started seeing patients Sept. 3 at the facilities in Brandon, Fla., north Tampa and south Tampa. Dr. Eldayrie will begin Oct. 1 at the Brandon and north Tampa locations.
