1. Dr. Swanson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Tahoe Orthopedic & Sports Medicine in Carson City, Nev., and Zephyr Cove, Nev., specializing in sports injuries and joint replacement surgery.
2. Dr. Swanson directs Graduate Medical Education for Lake Tahoe, Calif.-based Barton Health.
3. He is also a founding member of the Tahoe Sports Medicine Fellowship, which trains orthopedic surgeons in sports medicine techniques. He currently serves as the fellowship’s program director and designated institutional officiate.
