Dr. Jeff Traub joins Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced the appointment of orthopedic surgeon Jeff Traub, MD, to the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission on Oct. 8, according to Valdosta Today.

Dr. Traub practices at Atlanta Bone and Joint Specialists and is chief of orthopedics at Emory Decatur Medical Center in North Decatur, Ga.

He specializes in hip, knee and shoulder replacements as well as arthroscopic surgery.

Dr. Traub is also involved with the Georgia Boxing Commission and is the lead physician for all boxing, Ultimate Fighting Championship and other MMA events that are hosted in Atlanta.
