Jay Pond, MD, completed the first successful use of b-ONE Ortho Corporation’s MOBIO Total Knee System utilizing the TMINI Miniature Robotic System.
The combination of systems is an alternative to traditional total knee replacement procedures with robotic assistance, according to a July 10 news release from THINK Surgical.
Dr. Pond is an orthopedic surgeon at the Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital-Arlington (Texas).
THINK Surgical earned FDA 510(k) clearance to use the MOBIO system with the TMINI in November 2024, the release said.
