American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society names Dr. Jeffrey Johnson president: 4 notes

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society named Jeffrey E. Johnson, MD, president.

Here are four notes:

 

1. Dr. Johnson will also serve on the board of directors of the society’s Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation.

 

2. He currently serves as chief of the foot and ankle service and a professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

 

3. He has participated in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ Japanese-American Traveling Fellowship Program and has lectured nationally and internationally.  

 

4. He completed his foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston.
