Dr. Kurt Nilsson is a St. Luke's Health System's President's Award winner: 4 things to know

Boise, Idaho-based St. Luke's Health System named Kurt Nilsson, MD, one of the winners of its 2016 President's Award, according to an Idaho Business Review report.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Dr. Nilsson focuses on sports medicine, musculoskeletal injuries and concussions.

 

2. He is a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Soccer Federation.

 

3. He directs St. Luke's sports medicine education series.

 

4. The health system's President's Award honors staff members nominated by colleagues for their commitment to the organization's mission and values.
