Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Jaehon Kim of Mount Sinai Health System

Jaehon Kim, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the New York City-based Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Leni & Peter W. May Department of Orthopedics.

Dr. Kim specializes in upper extremity surgery, treating both simple and complex musculoskeletal conditions. He performs minimally invasive endoscopic and arthroscopic procedures as well as reconstruction of neurovascular structures.

Dr. Kim has authored numerous book chapters and primary research articles. He has delivered presentations at national and international meetings.

Dr. Kim graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, completed a residency through the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program in Boston and underwent fellowship training at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore.

Notably, he was one of few recipients of the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation grant.
