Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Nashville and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee launched a bundled payment program with Ascension Saint Thomas for joint replacement, according to a Dec. 19 news release.
The bundled payments coordinate care and streamlines claims and pricing for members covered in in Blue Networks P and S. Eligible members who participate will receive a single claim and single bill for their portion of costs.
The bundled payment program applies for eligible shoulder, hip, knee and ankle replacements.
