Four independent orthopaedic groups in Washington — Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists in Spokane, Olympia Orthopaedic Associates , Proliance Surgeons and Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, both in Seattle — have formed the Washington Orthopaedic Value Network (WOVN). The alliance represents more than 200 physicians providing care to millions of patients across the state, according to a July 29 news release sent to Becker’s.

The network is designed to improve access, reduce costs and raise the quality of orthopaedic care through coordinated, outcome-driven treatment protocols. By collaborating, the practices aim to enhance patient outcomes while maintaining affordability for employers and health plans.

While each group will retain its independence, they will share clinical protocols, outcome data and best practices. WOVN also plans to secure direct contracts with employers and insurers, focusing on measurable improvements in patient satisfaction, recovery times and overall cost efficiency.
