Adam W. Anz, MD, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine specializes in elbow, hip, knee and shoulder treatment.

Dr. Anz's clinical interests include sports medicine, knee, shoulder and hip injuries and stem cell research. A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Anz is also affiliated with the Arthroscopy Association of America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Internal Society of Arthroscopy. His research and written work has been published in Arthroscopy, The American Journal of Orthopedics and American Journal of Sports Medicine.

 

Dr. Anz graduated form the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile before completing a residency at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He underwent his sports medicine fellowship at The Steadman Clinic/Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colo., and his second fellowship in Malaysia with a focus on clinical stem cell research.
