Wisconsin orthopedic practice hit with data breach

Wausau, Wis.-based Bone & Joint Clinic was hit with a data breach, the practice said March 10.

The practice had a network distruption on Jan. 15, according to a news release. An investigation found administrative and medical files may have been accessed without authorization.

The practice isn’t aware if any data was misused, and individuals who may have been affected were notified. The practice didn’t say how many were affected.
