1. The hospital is the first in the Dallas area to offer robotic spine surgery.

2. In October, surgeons performed the first surgery using the system to relieve a patient’s back and leg pain. Spine surgeons received training on the system prior to the operation.

3. In addition to the ExcelsiusGPS, Medical City Frisco offers the Mako system for hip and knee replacement and the da Vinci Xi system for various surgical procedures.
