1. Neurosurgeon T.S. Park, MD, is director of the St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Center for Cerebral Palsy Spasticity.
2. Dr. Park’s method of SDR surgery is designed to be minimally invasive and remove less spinal bone than previous procedures, which is designed to result in fewer spine and back complications later in life.
3. St. Louis Children’s Hospital has performed SDR surgery on patients from 77 countries and 49 states in the U.S.
