Pennsylvania hospital readmission rates & charges for TKR & THR: 6 statistics

Between 2004 and 2013, the most common reasons for readmission after total knee and hip replacements in Pennsylvania were hematoma, postoperative wound infection and prosthetic joint dislocation and infection, according to a report from the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council.
