National Spine and Pain Centers names new president

Rockville, Md.-based National Spine and Pain Centers named Douglas Badertscher its administrative president, the practice announced Feb. 23.

Mr. Badertscher will oversee the practice’s northern U.S. and mid-Atlantic operations. He’ll also oversee the company’s efforts to acquire practices and develop ASCs.

He comes to National Spine and Pain Center after a tenure at Pain Specialists of America, where he was president and COO. He has past experience with several orthopedic and imaging practices.

Mark Coleman, MD, will remain in his role as NSPC’s president of clinical operations.

Mr. Badertscher commented on joining NSPC, saying, “I am looking forward to leveraging my experience toward achieving that mission and collaborating with what is already an impressive, high-performing team.”
