Mercy sets up walk-in clinic for orthopedic injuries — 3 things to know

Mercy Clinic Orthopedics opened a walk-in clinic at its office in Fort Smith, Ark., the Times Record reports.

What you should know:

1. Open weekdays, the clinic offers treatment for patients with cuts, burns, sprains, fractures, strains and stitches.

2. Patients are asked to call before visiting the office, which is on the Mercy Orthopedic Hospital campus. They will also be screened upon arrival.

3. O’Fallon, Mo.-based Mercy temporarily closed the Mercy Convenient Care in Fort Smith. Providers from that location will staff other Convenient Care sites.
