Medical City Dallas purchased a vacant healthcare facility in Dallas it plans to spend $92 million to convert it into a heart and spine hospital.

Meridian, Conn.-based MidState Medical Center wants to expand its orthopedic presence by adding three new operating rooms for $26.2 million.

Steamboat Springs, Colo.-based providers UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center and Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute entered into a 50/50 partnership to open an orthopedic-only ASC.

Vail, Colo.-based The Steadman Clinic opened a clinic in Frisco, Colo.

Lafayette (La.) General Hospital cut the ribbon on its new orthopedic-focused hospital Feb. 22.

Rapid City, S.D.-based Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center opened a clinic in Gillette, Wyo., to better serve the city’s population.

Middlesex Health opened an orthopedic operating suite at Middlesex Hospital. Both are based in Middletown, Conn.

Mercy Hospital Fort Smith (Ark.) is reviving its neurosurgery program by hiring two neurosurgeons and remodeling space for its neuroscience center.

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery dedicated the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Complex Joint Reconstruction Center on Feb. 12.
