Four details:
1. Currently under renovation, the new clinic will be located next door to Greene County General Hospital.
2. Board-certified orthopedic surgeon John Hammerstein, MD, will lead the TeamOrtho Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center.
3. Dr. Hammerstein is expected to join the Greene County General Hospital network in August 2019.
4. Dr. Hammerstein earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He is currently undergoing sports medicine fellowship training at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Research and Education Foundation.
