HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast opened an orthopedic and neuroscience center in Pasadena, Texas, Community Impact Newspaper reports.

1. The 20-bed, 15,800-square-foot center is intended to serve neuroscience and orthopedic patients postoperatively.

2. Nine registered nurses specializing in postoperative care were hired to staff the facility.

3. The center cost $5 million.
