Dr. Jonathan Wigderson elected as VP of New York health system

Jonathan Wigderson, DO, was elected vice president of Utica, N.Y.-based Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare, reports The Rome Sentinel.

Dr. Widgerson is an orthopedic trauma specialist with the Mohawk Valley Health System Orthopedic Group.

Dr. Widgerson received his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Peninsula Hospital Center in New York City.

He completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and a fellowship in orthopedics at Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing, N.Y.

He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
