Arizona-based orthopedic group adds 2 orthopedic surgeons, 4 other specialists

Phoenix-based The Orthopedic Clinic Association welcomed six orthopedic specialists.

The new physicians joining the practice include:

1. Roberto Calderon, MD, a joint replacement specialist who previously served as chief of orthopedic surgery at Malcolm Grow Medical Center on Andrews Air Force Base.

2. Justin Roberts, MD, a complex foot and ankle specialist who focuses on sports injuries as well as deformities, fractures and arthritis patients. He underwent his fellowship at Grand Rapids-based Orthopedic Associates of Michigan.

3. Michelle Armijo, PA, a physician assistant to assist the orthopedic physicians.

4. Tracey Myers, FNP-C, a nurse practitioner to assist hand, wrist and upper extremities physicians.

5. Ashlyn Sala, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant.

6. Alyssa Tyler, PA, a board-certified physician assistant.

TOCA includes 19 physicians and 220 support staff.
