Here are three highlights:
1. The $55 million hospital took less than two years to construct. It puts Regional Health’s physiatry, podiatry, neurosurgery, orthopedics, sports medicine, weight management and wound care services in one facility.
2. The orthopedic hospital also gives patients the option for outpatient rehabilitation care, including physical, occupational and speech therapy.
3. With the opening, the hospital plans to bring on another four physicians and 40 employees throughout the year.
