Cerapedics names Antony Koblish board chair; appoints Doug Kohrs to board: 6 highlights

Cerapedics named Antony Koblish its board of directors’ chair.

1. Mr. Koblish has 25 years of medical device experience and has served on Cerapedics’ board of directors since 2013.

 

2. Mr. Koblish co-founded and serves as president and CEO of TELA Bio, a biosurgical reconstruction company.

 

3. He previously was president and CEO of Orthovita, where he oversaw its sale to Stryker for $316 milion.

 

4. The company also appointed Doug Kohrs to its board of directors.

 

5. Mr. Kohrs has served in various roles during his 35-year career in the medical device industry, including a founder, board member and executive. He currently is the managing director of Responsive Arthroscopy.

 

6. Mr. Kohrs founded Responsive Orthopedics, which Medtronic acquired in 2016.
