Regenerative medicine company Auragens has opened an orthobiologics division.

Orthopedic surgeon Abdiel Ortiz, MD, will lead the new division, which integrates advanced hu-MSC therapies, precision-guided orthopedic procedures, biologic scaffolding strategies and data-driven rehabilitation protocols, according to a March 10 news release from Auragens.

The orthobiologics division will provide individualized regenerative treatment plans designed to accelerate recovery, reduce inflammation, improve joint stability and extend athletic careers.

In addition, the OrthoBio Division will focus on case studies and outcome tracking, peer-reviewed publications and educational initiatives, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
