Amplio Spine has finalized its acquisition of the KeyLift expandable interlaminar stabilization system from FloSpine and launched national commercialization of the device.

The transaction included KeyLift’s intellectual property portfolio, FDA 510(k) clearance, finished inventory and distributor relationships. Financial terms were not disclosed, according to a June 18 news release.

Amplio Spine signed a letter of intent to acquire the technology in April. At the time, the company said the acquisition would include the KeyLiftXS and KeyLiftXL systems, a minimally invasive platform for lumbar spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease and other non-cervical spine conditions.

The FDA-cleared device is intended for supplemental fixation at a single level of the non-cervical spine and is available in two configurations, KeyLiftXL and KeyLiftXS. The platform includes eight cleared sizes across the two product lines.

Amplio Spine has assumed responsibility for commercialization, distributor onboarding and clinical training following the acquisition.
