Amplio Spine signed a letter of intent to acquire the KeyLift expandable inter laminar stabilization system, according to an April 23 news release.
The acquisition includes KeyLiftXS and KeyLift XL, four sizes for eight total SKUs and related assets from FloSpine, which developed the system. KeyLift is a minimally invasive platform for lumbar spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and other non–cervical spine conditions.
KeyLift was designed by the late Peter Harris, a spine industry veteran with leadership roles at U.S. Spine, Biomet, Amedica, and K2M. It earned FDA (510K) clearance in 2023.
Financial terms of the deal, expected to close in the second quarter, weren’t disclosed.
