Roee Ber, MD, performed the first case with the ExcelsiusHub in New York, Globus Medical said in a March 14 LinkedIn post.

ExcelsiusHub is used for navigation and can be paired with Excelsius3D for intraoperative imaging. Dr. Ber is a spine surgeon at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

“One of the most notable advantages is the system’s expansive field of view, which allows me to capture all necessary levels with a single spin,” Dr. Ber said in the post. “The system’s ease of maneuverability is also noteworthy, our X-ray technicians appreciate the user-friendly design, and the low-profile design of Excelsius3D helps reduce clutter in the operating room, which I find particularly valuable in space constrained settings.”
