Utah spine practice adds Ciartic Move Mobile system

Orem, Utah-based Alpine Spine & Orthopedics implemented the Ciartic Move 3D imaging system, according to a March 4 news release.

The imaging system is low-profile and mobile, and it enables 3D imaging with robotic holonomic mechanisms. Richard McMurtrey, MD, is trained to use the system.

“This technology really moves us into the future for minimally-invasive image-guided procedures,” he said in the release. “It is the most advanced robotic 3D C-arm cone beam scanner that exists for interventional procedures to see targets and approaches in the highest resolution, and we are grateful to be the first in Utah to implement a revolutionary device of this kind.”

Alpine Spine & Orthopedics is the first in the state to use this technology.
