Alexander Sah, MD, performed the debut case at Washington Outpatient Surgery Center in Fremont, Calif. The new version of the robot enables positional refinement and optimization of the implant custom to the patient’s needs.

“The added ability to objectively assess soft-tissue balance and make adjustments intraoperatively, combined with the small form factor, makes it the ideal option for robotics in the outpatient setting,” Dr. Sah said in the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
