Three things to know:
1. The robot will be installed in August and be used in knee surgeries in September.
2. Developed by Zimmer Biomet, Rosa Knee uses 3D imaging to develop computerized models of the patient’s anatomy.
3. Surgeons can use the computerized model to plan the knee replacement and use the robot to assist with implant placement.
