Three things to know:
1. Navio uses CT-free intraoperative registration, planning and navigation to help surgeons develop patient-specific surgical plans.
2. The technology enables surgeons to create a 3D model of the knee on the computer, which helps predict the procedure before making a cut on the bone.
3. Orthopedic surgeons will perform procedures with the Navio robot at Oswego Health’s new Center for Orthopedic Care at Fulton (N.Y.) Medical Center.
