Medacta appoints US spine division general manager: 3 notes

Medacta named Daniel Abromowitz general manager of the company’s U.S. spine division.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Abromowitz worked with spinal implant company X-spine Systems for nine years. He served as vice president of sales when the company was acquired by Bacterin in 2015.

2. He held senior leadership positions at Xtant Medical, formerly X-spine, Aerobiotix and Captiva Spine.

3. Mr. Abromowitz said he plans to expand peer-to-peer training programs for spine surgeons, such as the Medacta Orthopaedic Research and Education Institute.
