Here are three highlights:
1. The sports medicine center will be located in the Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute.
2. Construction on the four-story, 49,000-square-foot center is expected to begin soon, with the Miami Health Sports Medicine Center opening in the summer of 2019.
3. Because of the multiyear partnership, Baptist Health will expand its orthopedic services through an ambulatory surgery center and clinical education programs.
