Dr. Hamming specializes in sports medicine, including hip arthroscopy and multi-ligament knee surgery.
Dr. Hamming served as the U.S. Ski Team’s team physician during training for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. He was also team physician for Durham, N.C.-based Duke University and other collegiate- and high school-level basketball, football, lacrosse and soccer teams.
In 2004, he was named Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University’s N Club Achievement Award Recipient.
After receiving his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Dr. Hamming underwent fellowship training at the Vail, Colo.-based Steadman Clinic. He completed residencies at Scottish Rite Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Duke University Medical Center.
