Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Marius Maxwell of Arctic Spine

Marius Maxwell, MD, PhD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Arctic Spine in Anchorage, Alaska.

He received his medical degree from the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine in England. Dr. Maxwell also earned a doctorate in molecular cancer biology at Oxford University in England. He serves as the sole neurosurgeon reviewer for Alaska’s Board of Medicine.

His research has been published widely in a variety of peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Maxwell has performed over 10,000 surgeries and has 30 years of neurosurgical experience.
