Board certified in neurosurgery, Dr. Boyd is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and has been designated as a Best Doctor in South Carolina. Dr. Boyd is also a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, South Carolina Association of Neurological Surgeons, Lexington Medical
Society and Columbia Medical Society.
After earning his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina Charleston, Dr. Boyd completed his residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Boyd underwent additional fellowship training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London.
